This particular mission, baptized with the name Doge-1 is scheduled for the year 2022. The objective of this satellite is "to obtain lunar-space intelligence through sensors and cameras.” Shortly after, Elon Musk drummed up a Twitter poll asking whether or not Tesla should accept dogecoin. The poll received more than 500,000 votes within 20 minutes, with the overwhelming majority (~75%) replying "Yes”. The poll has prompted an upward bounce in DOGE's value, trading at $0.52 at the time of writing compared to $0.46 prior to the poll.

Elon Musk changed his Twitter bio to #bitcoin on January 29, 2021. Within an hour’s time after this update, the price of Bitcoin skyrocketed from around $32,000 to just shy of $38,000. This series of events seems to indicate that Musk holds supreme influence in the world of cryptocurrency. One might say that this technology mogul has become the standard-bearer for the cryptocurrency movement.

Are there any coins out there that have a direct link to Elon Musk? We do not know.
