With a view to enriching the curriculum content of the trusteeship class and letting children spend a warm, happy and fulfilling summer vacation, recently, Boxing County held “Trade Unions Assist Future Generation·A Trip to Cultivate Children’s Intelligence” activity, aiming to let employees’ children at the love trusteeship class go to the Science and Technology Museum of Boxing County, Museum of Boxing County and the Shooting Hall of Boxing County to carry out practical activities of research study tours in summer holiday.

At the Science and Technology Museum of Boxing County, children visited the exhibition areas, such as “Intelligent Age”, “Sea of Stars” and “Lighthouse of Science”. They experienced mechanical walls, smart dogs, rhythm masters, chess king’s hegemony, life planet, exploration of stars, naked-eye 3D screens, holographic suspension space, simulated driving, bristle with anger, wings of science, backward water droplets and other exhibitions. Through the form of multimedia interaction + mechanical interaction + physical interaction + artistic graphics and text, they were popularized with rich knowledge from the origin of life to aerospace diving, and their horizons were broadened.

At the Museum of Boxing County, children were attracted by the rich and diverse cultural relics and vivid scenes. With teh help of the explanation by the museum commentator, children visited the Buddhist Exhibition Hall of the Longhua Temple Site, the Red Revolution Exhibition Hall, and the Spring Festival Customs Exhibition Hall of Boxing County in an orderly manner. All kinds of precious cultural relics dazzled them, and they were all shocked and proud of the splendid history and culture of their hometown. It not only allowed children to increase their knowledge, but also provided them with a zero-distance understanding of their hometown culture, inspiring them to love their hometown, worship the motherland, and protect cultural relics.

At the Shooting Hall of Boxing County, teachers explained shooting sports knowledge in detail and demonstrated the essentials of movements to children. Subsequently, children conducted stability exercises and experienced laser pistol and laser rifle sports. Shooting exercises improved children’s concentration, cultivated their strong psychological quality and protected their eyesight.

This research study activity allowed children to feel the unique charm of science and technology, the splendid history and culture of their hometown, and experience shooting sports, fully mobilizing their interest in learning and broadening their horizons. In the next step, Boxing County will continue to probe into a variety of high-quality holiday trusteeship models, carry out colorful research study activities, do well in the meaningful work of serving employees, implement practical things, play the role of trade unions as a bridge with practical actions, and show the excellent features of employees’ “family members” with service details.
